“The staff were great. We had a smooth checking. The Manager also helped us carry our luggage to the 2nd floor as the establishment did not have an elevator. The pool was closed for repairs. Breakfast was decent. Their wifi had some limit to users and I couldn’t get on it The biggest issue we had was the mattress. It was an old lumpy mattress and we had a very bad night. We stayed for only 1 night.”

“Although renovations seem to be happening, the original iron spring mattress should be a priority for initial upgrades...those metal springs hurt your back...just saying...”

“The laundry room was clean and the receptionist at the front desk was nice. The smell of bleach hits you right in the face walking through the front doors and crumbling brick exterior. The bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was gross, there were obviously patched holes in the door and the shower head was filthy and had three terrible settings. How this place has the ratings it has are a complete mystery to me. I would never stay here again, it was a surprising a place this terrible has...

“I just think in general this place is pricey for what it is. I stayed at AmericInn in grand forks the next night and it was so much better, more updated, cleaner, had a pool and hot tub. This place way just super underwhelming. TV sucks, bathroom had a hole in the ceiling. The floor was FREEZING. It is hardwood which is fine but obviously it isn't insulated so even though you can get the heat running in the room the floor is always very cold.”

“Hot tub was not working.Pool was not working.No electric kettle in room.Coffee maker in room was not working.Chairs in room dirty.Only one juice was in breakfast and there was water coming in other three outlets.No brown bread was provided.No egg in breakfast.”

“We went down for breakfast at 8:30 and the sign said, Saturday and Sunday breakfast until 10:00am. There was no meat, only eggs, that were warm, we went down 25 min later still no breakfast meat. Paid a lot of money and no breakfast meat! Really!! I guess when it’s the only nice motel in town they can charge and do what they want. 😞😢”
